Before the hackathon we had following presentations :-<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Docker Global Hackday opening by<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/avinci\"> Avi Cavale<\/a>, Co-founder and CEO, Shippable.<\/li>\n<li>Introduction to Docker &#8211; Pranay Pareek, Shippable<\/li>\n<li>Introduction to Project Atomic <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/neependra\">&#8211; Neependra Khare<\/a>, Red Hat.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In the<a href=\"http:\/\/wp.neependra.net\/?p=1221\"> last meetup <\/a>we looked at <a href=\"https:\/\/coreos.com\/\">CoreOS<\/a> and decided to to look at<a href=\"http:\/\/www.projectatomic.io\/\"> Project Atomic<\/a> in this meetup. I used<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/cgwalters\"> Colin Walters <\/a>\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/cdn.verbum.org\/2014.10-bblisa-atomic\/index.html\">slides<\/a>\u00a0to give Atomic presentations and then used Fedora 20 Atomic image to give Demo.<\/p>\n<p>After the presentation and Lunch we had the hackathon. Four teams participated. I could not due to being host but I helped first timers with Docker handons. The four hacks we did are:-<\/p>\n<p>1. Dockit &#8211; Docker GlusterFS integration @HumbleDevassy, @swordphilic, @hiSaifi<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=s7OCkyPuaVs<\/p>\n<p>2.\u00a0dockerComp &#8211; @arcolife,@krishnakalyan3 &#8211; <strong>Bangalore Hackathon Winner<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=lIp2nrOnKFs<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>3.\u00a0Docker as a Load Balancer. @anandrm<\/p>\n<p>Dockerize a Load Balancer to replace a Standalone Load Balancers.<\/p>\n<p>4. CI with Docker @srikrishnaholla, @harishk8591106, @dilipkuki<\/p>\n<p>We did not have anyone to judge, so we did the presentations and cast the vote ourselves. Local winner was dockerComp.<\/p>\n<p>In Pune we did not hackathon but had great workshop. Look at the meetup page for awesome feedback. There were requests to do hands-on with Docker.
